The best Robinhood Chain provider in 2026 for RPC, a Data API, and notifications on one key is Tatum. The top five are Tatum, Chainstack, Alchemy, QuickNode, and dRPC.
Best for dedicated nodes: Chainstack. Best for the stack Robinhood recommends, with archive on the free tier: Alchemy. Best for Streams and webhooks: QuickNode. Best for a no-key endpoint and a 210 million CU free plan: dRPC.
Robinhood Chain, November 2, 2026
Robinhood Chain is an Arbitrum Layer 2. Chain ID 4663 on mainnet, 46630 on testnet, gas token ETH. Figures below were checked November 2, 2026 on each vendor page linked in Sources. The latency chart uses CompareNodes report 01a03809, captured August 25, 2026, because that run includes Tatum.
Best for, at a glance
| Rank | Provider | Best for | Why this slot |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Tatum | RPC + Data API + notifications | Product score 3. The notifications reference lists Robinhood Mainnet with all notification types. |
| 2 | Chainstack | Dedicated nodes | Mainnet and testnet, WebSocket on every plan, archive from Growth. Developer plan is free at 3 million RU per month and 25 RPS. |
| 3 | Alchemy | Chain-recommended stack, large free tier | Product score 3. Robinhood's connecting docs name Alchemy as the recommended provider. Free tier is 30 million CU per month, with archive included. |
| 4 | QuickNode | Streams and webhooks | Product score 2. The Robinhood page documents JSON-RPC, archive, Streams, and webhooks. |
| 5 | dRPC | No-key URL, large free CU pool | Product score 1. Public URL https://robinhood.drpc.org. Free plan is 210 million CU, about 10 million requests, 100 RPS. |
Best Robinhood Chain provider in this guide for an app that needs JSON-RPC, an indexed Data API, and address notifications on one key. Mainnet and testnet gateways, WebSocket, archive listed on the chain page, Starter at $49 per month for 4 million credits and 200 RPS.
Second for a dedicated Robinhood node. Permanent Developer plan: 3 million request units per month, 25 RPS, WebSockets, archive from Growth ($49 per month, or $40 per month on annual). No indexed Data API and no webhook product on the Robinhood page.
Same product score as Tatum, and the provider Robinhood's connecting docs recommend. Free tier: 30 million CU per month, 300 CU per second, five webhooks, archive included. Pay as you go is $0.525 per million CU. Third because Chainstack holds the dedicated-node slot.
Best fit for Streams plus webhooks on Robinhood mainnet and testnet, with archive on the published plan grid. Entry is a one-month trial (10 million credits, 15 RPS), then Build at $49 per month for 80 million credits and 50 RPS.
Best fit when you want a no-key Robinhood URL or a large free CU pool. Free plan: 210 million CU, 100 RPS, archive and WebSocket. No Robinhood Data API or webhook product is named on the dRPC chain page.
How this ranking was scored
The order is for a team shipping an application on Robinhood Chain that may need more than a node. Anyone can repeat the checks from the linked pages. Checked November 2, 2026.
Who is in the five: Tatum, because its own Robinhood pages document RPC, a Data API, and notifications, plus the four providers on Robinhood's connecting page whose pricing pages published both a numeric free allowance and a numeric paid price that day (Alchemy, QuickNode, Chainstack, dRPC). Blockdaemon, Validation Cloud, GlobalStake, and Pinax are on that Robinhood list. This guide does not rank them, because a comparable public price and rate limit were not captured on November 2, 2026. The official Robinhood RPC appears in the latency section, measured in the same CompareNodes run as Tatum.
Product score, one point each, only when the vendor's own Robinhood page or docs name the surface:
- Node. JSON-RPC on mainnet and testnet, plus a WebSocket.
- Data API. An indexed query API for balances, transfers, tokens, NFTs, or portfolio. A stream of raw blocks does not count.
- Notifications. Webhooks or an alerts API named for Robinhood addresses or events.
Tie-break when the score matches: the provider whose docs publish a Robinhood notification-type list (named event types for that chain) ranks above one that only says "webhooks" in a launch post. Tatum and Alchemy both score 3. Tatum's notifications reference lists Robinhood Mainnet as EVM with all notification types. Alchemy's Robinhood API overview lists Token, Transfers, NFT, Debug, Gas Manager, and Bundler APIs, and does not list webhooks. Alchemy's July 1, 2026 launch post does name webhooks in prose. That tie-break is why Tatum is 1 and Alchemy is not. It does not place Alchemy second.
Second place is Chainstack, for dedicated Robinhood nodes: mainnet and testnet, WebSocket on every plan, archive on the paid Growth plan. Chainstack's product score is 1. It stays second because that dedicated-node slot is the one this page holds open after the three-product tie-break.
The remaining slots follow product score: Alchemy 3, QuickNode 2, dRPC 1.
Latency on this page is only the CompareNodes run that measured Tatum and the official Robinhood RPC in the same regions. Cohorts that do not include Tatum are not used to line up the other providers.
Robinhood Chain providers compared
Rows are providers. Rank and Best for are columns. Cells cite the vendor page as of November 2, 2026. Prices change. Follow the link for the live number.
| Rank | Provider | Best for | Score | Node | Data API | Notifications |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Tatum | RPC, Data API, notifications | 3 | Mainnet, testnet, WebSocket | Yes, chain page | Yes, all types on mainnet |
| 2 | Chainstack | Dedicated nodes | 1 | Mainnet, testnet, WebSocket | Not named | Not named |
| 3 | Alchemy | Recommended stack, free archive | 3 | Mainnet, testnet, WebSocket | Token, Transfers, NFT | Yes, named in the launch post |
| 4 | QuickNode | Streams and webhooks | 2 | Mainnet, testnet, WebSocket | Not named (Streams are a feed) | Yes, on the chain page |
| 5 | dRPC | No-key URL, free CU pool | 1 | Mainnet, testnet, WebSocket | Not named | Not named |
How other 2026 lists order this market
Two public roundups rank Robinhood Chain RPC by measured reads and deployment fit. Both put Chainstack first. This page puts Chainstack second for dedicated nodes, and keeps first place for RPC plus a Data API plus notifications. Neither list includes Tatum.
| List | Checked | Their order | What they optimized |
|---|---|---|---|
| NOWPayments, five providers | October 13, 2026 | Chainstack, NOWNodes, Dwellir, RouteMesh, Alchemy | Editorial fit. They say the list is not a benchmark ranking of all five. |
| Chainstack, six providers | Updated October 21, 2026 | Chainstack, NOWNodes, Dwellir, Blockdaemon, Alchemy, QuickNode | Memecoin and NFT workloads: flat request units, archive, and dedicated nodes. |
Providers those lists add, checked against the vendor page on November 2, 2026, and left out of this five because they are not on Robinhood's connecting list with both a numeric free allowance and a numeric paid price, and they do not publish a Robinhood Data API plus notifications:
| Provider | Best for, on those lists | What the vendor page shows now |
|---|---|---|
| NOWNodes | Multi-chain key | Mainnet at https://robinhood.nownodes.io/, api-key header. START plan: 100,000 requests per month. The node page lists Debug and WSS. Paid plans state no predefined RPS cap. No dollar price was on that page, so NOWNodes is not scored here. |
| Dwellir | Archive reads and flat per-response billing | Mainnet archive hosts https://api-robinhood-mainnet-archive.n.dwellir.com/ and the matching wss:// URL. Pricing page: free is 20 responses per second with a 500,000 daily credit limit, trace and debug off, WebSocket on. Developer is $49 per month, 25 million responses, 100 per second, trace and debug on. One response is one credit, including trace and debug. The network page lists mainnet only. |
| Blockdaemon | Institutional isolation | Named on Robinhood's connecting page. No public numeric price was captured on November 2, so Blockdaemon is not scored. |
| RouteMesh | Routed testnet access | The October 13 list said its verified Robinhood listing was testnet. This guide did not re-check RouteMesh on November 2, so RouteMesh is not scored. |
Pricing and free tiers
Each figure is from the vendor page linked in the row, checked November 2, 2026. "Permanent" means the vendor does not describe the allowance as a timed trial.
| Provider | Free tier | Paid entry | Pricing page |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tatum | Permanent. 100,000 lifetime credits, 3 RPS, 2 API keys, 100 notifications per month, 5 subscriptions. The free-plan FAQ says 3 RPS on full nodes. | Starter, 4 million credits, $49 per month, 200 RPS on the plans page. Dedicated keys on the chain page: 10 RPS $99, 25 RPS $249, 50 RPS $509, 100 RPS $1,049. Dedicated keys do not consume plan credits. | tatum.io/pricing, plans and limits |
| Alchemy | Permanent. 30 million CU per month, 300 CU per second, 5 apps, 5 webhooks, archive included. Debug and trace are off on the free tier. | Pay as you go, $0.525 per million CU, 10,000 CU per second, 100 webhooks. The platform pricing page enables Debug and Trace on pay as you go. The Robinhood overview lists a Debug API and does not list a separate Trace API. No $49 monthly bundle is on the plans page. | Alchemy pricing plans |
| QuickNode | One-month trial, not a permanent free plan. 10 million API credits, 15 RPS, 1 webhook, archive included on the free column of the plan grid. | Build, $49 per month or $42 per month billed annually. 80 million credits, extra credits $0.62 per million, 50 RPS, 10 webhooks. | quicknode.com/pricing |
| dRPC | Permanent. Public nodes, 210 million CU (about 10 million requests), 100 RPS, archive, debug and trace, WebSocket. | Pro, $49 per month, 300 RPS. The same page prints $0.30 per million CU and a multi-chain overage of $6 per million requests. | drpc.org/pricing |
| Chainstack | Permanent Developer plan. 3 million RU per month, 25 RPS, 1 node, WebSockets. Archive is not on Developer. | Growth, $49 per month or $40 per month on annual. 20 million RU, 250 RPS, archive and debug. Extra usage $15 per million RU. Full requests cost 1 RU. Archive requests cost 2 RU. | chainstack.com/pricing |
Tatum credit weights on the Robinhood chain page: 2 credits for a standard RPC method, 5 credits for eth_call, 50 credits for debug and trace. QuickNode lists Robinhood with the 20-credit method group on its Robinhood API credits page. Trace and debug on QuickNode are a 2x multiplier. Webhooks cost 30 API credits per matched block. Alchemy webhook delivery is 0.04 CU per byte, about 40 CU for a 1,000-byte event, from the webhook pricing article.
Rate limits
These are the published request caps, not a measured throughput test. Alchemy publishes compute units per second, not requests per second, so this guide does not convert Alchemy CU into an RPS guess.
| Provider | Free or trial cap | First paid cap |
|---|---|---|
| Tatum | 3 RPS, 100,000 lifetime credits | 200 RPS on Starter. Dedicated 10 RPS is a separate $99 key. |
| Alchemy | 300 CU per second, 30 million CU per month | 10,000 CU per second on pay as you go |
| QuickNode | 15 RPS during the one-month trial | 50 RPS on Build |
| dRPC | 100 RPS, 210 million CU | 300 RPS on Pro |
| Chainstack | 25 RPS, 3 million RU per month | 250 RPS on Growth |
Robinhood's own public RPC, https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com, is documented as rate-limited and not for production. The connecting page does not print a numeric cap.
Archive and WebSocket
| Provider | WebSocket | Archive | Where it is written |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tatum | wss://robinhood-mainnet.gateway.tatum.io and the testnet host |
Archive nodes are listed on the chain page. The free-plan FAQ limits free keys to full nodes at 3 RPS. This guide does not name a paid tier for archive, because the pricing page did not print an archive row on November 2, 2026. | Tatum Robinhood |
| Alchemy | wss://robinhood-mainnet.g.alchemy.com/v2/{API_KEY} |
Full archive data is included on the free tier. Platform pricing turns Debug and Trace on for pay as you go. Alchemy's Robinhood overview, checked November 2, 2026, lists a Debug API and debug_executionWitness, and does not list a Trace API. An October 21 comparison had said Debug and Trace were unsupported. That older line is not what the overview says now. Robinhood's docs say historical reads should use an archive endpoint, available through providers such as Alchemy. |
Robinhood connecting |
| QuickNode | WSS on mainnet and testnet, eth_subscribe |
Archive is checked on the free column and on Build. The chain page names debug_traceTransaction and debug_traceBlockByNumber. Trace and debug start on Build in the plan grid (the free column shows a dash). |
QuickNode Robinhood |
| dRPC | wss://robinhood.drpc.org |
Archive, debug, and trace are listed on the free plan. | dRPC Robinhood |
| Chainstack | WebSocket on every plan, including Developer | Archive starts on Growth. A full request is 1 RU. An archive request is 2 RU. Debug tracers are documented on the Robinhood methods page. Parity-style trace_* and arbtrace_* are not exposed. |
Chainstack methods |
Data API and notifications
This is the split the product score is built on. A yes requires the vendor's own Robinhood material, not a general platform feature that never names the chain.
| Provider | Indexed Data API on Robinhood | Notifications on Robinhood |
|---|---|---|
| Tatum | Yes. The chain page says indexed data APIs ship with Robinhood. Portfolio and transaction history calls use chain=robinhood-mainnet. |
Yes. Robinhood Mainnet is listed with all notification types. Chain slug robinhood-mainnet. Create with POST /v4/subscription. Free plan: 100 notifications per month and 5 subscriptions. |
| Alchemy | Yes. Token API, Transfers API, and NFT API are listed as supported on Robinhood Chain. Robinhood's own docs describe a Data API for balances, history, NFTs, and portfolio, and point that section at Alchemy. | Yes, in the July 1, 2026 launch post: webhooks for onchain events. The Robinhood method overview does not list webhook types. Free plan allows 5 webhooks. Pay as you go allows 100. |
| QuickNode | Not as a query API. Streams deliver blocks, logs, and traces. That is a feed, so the Data API point stays off. | Yes. The Robinhood page documents webhooks for addresses and events. Trial allows 1 active webhook. Build allows 10. Cost is 30 credits per matched block. |
| dRPC | Not named on the Robinhood chain page. | Not named on the Robinhood chain page. |
| Chainstack | Not named. Archive RPC can read historical state. That is still RPC, so the Data API point stays off. | Not named. WebSocket eth_subscribe is a socket, not a webhook product, so the notifications point stays off. |
Latency
The chart uses one same-run report: CompareNodes 01a03809, captured August 25, 2026. Both bars are eth_getBlockByNumber(latest, false) p95. Tatum was lower than the official Robinhood RPC in 22 of 30 regions. The five cities below are the lowest Tatum p95 values among those wins.
CompareNodes cities, Tatum versus the official RPC
Report 01a03809. Lower is faster. Tatum bars use Tatum green. The official RPC bar is gray.
6.5 ms Tatum is lower in N. Virginia.
13.2 ms Tatum is lower in Singapore.
19.0 ms Tatum is lower in London.
19.6 ms Tatum is lower in Paris.
22.9 ms Tatum is lower in Zurich.
76.8 ms Tatum's median p95 is lower.
Across 30 regions. Tatum is ahead in 22. Bars are scaled inside each tab. The median is the median of those regional p95 values.
CompareNodes lists the Tatum gateway on its Robinhood provider directory. Directory order on that page is not a latency rank.
Tatum vs Alchemy
Tatum and Alchemy are the only two providers in this five with a product score of 3. The comparison is product surface, price, and what Robinhood itself writes.
| Check | Tatum | Alchemy |
|---|---|---|
| Rank in this guide | 1, on the notification-type tie-break | 3, same product score |
| Robinhood's own docs | Not in the provider table on the connecting page | Named as the recommended provider, with RPC and WebSocket URL templates |
| Data API | Indexed data, chain=robinhood-mainnet |
Token, Transfers, NFT, plus Gas Manager and Bundler |
| Notifications | All types listed for Robinhood Mainnet. Slug robinhood-mainnet. 100 per month on the free plan. |
Webhooks named in the July 1, 2026 launch post. 5 webhooks on the free plan. |
| Free tier | 100,000 lifetime credits, 3 RPS | 30 million CU per month, 300 CU per second, archive included |
| Paid entry | Starter $49 per month, 4 million credits, 200 RPS | $0.525 per million CU, no monthly bundle on the plans page |
| Other chains on the key | 142 networks, stated on the Robinhood chain page | Multi-chain, not given a Robinhood-page count here |
Pick Tatum when the app already uses Tatum's Data API and Notifications, or when one key must cover Robinhood plus the other networks on that chain page. Pick Alchemy when you want the provider Robinhood documents as recommended, archive on the free tier, or the larger monthly free allowance.
1. Tatum
Verdict: Tatum is the best Robinhood Chain provider in this guide for RPC, a Data API, and notifications on one key.
Docs: Robinhood chain page. Pricing: tatum.io/pricing. Limits: plans and limits. Notifications: supported chains.
JSON-RPC and WebSocket cover Robinhood mainnet and testnet. Hosts: https://robinhood-mainnet.gateway.tatum.io, wss://robinhood-mainnet.gateway.tatum.io, and the robinhood-testnet pair. Auth on the chain page is the x-api-key header. Methods called out there include standard RPC, eth_call at 5 credits, and debug and trace at 50 credits. The same page lists archive nodes, batch RPC, and 142 networks on one key. The chain page states 99.9% uptime. That figure is the vendor's claim, not a measurement from this guide.
Free plan, from the pricing FAQ: 100,000 lifetime credits, 3 requests per second on full nodes, 2 API keys, 100 notifications per month, 5 subscriptions. Paid Starter checked November 2, 2026: $49 per month for 4 million credits. Plans and limits put Starter at 200 RPS, with a 4 million or 7 million credit choice. Dedicated throughput on the chain page starts at $99 per month for 10 RPS and does not consume plan credits.
Data API and notifications are both named for Robinhood. The notifications reference lists Robinhood Mainnet with every notification type on that page (address events, native and token transfers, NFTs, contract logs, internal transactions, fee payments). The chain slug is robinhood-mainnet. This guide does not claim testnet notifications, because that table lists mainnet.
Latency: CompareNodes report 01a03809, captured August 25, 2026, measured Tatum and the official Robinhood RPC together. Tatum's eth_getBlockByNumber p95 was lower in 22 of 30 regions. Among those wins, the five lowest Tatum p95 values are N. Virginia 6.5 ms, Singapore 13.2 ms, London 19.0 ms, Paris 19.6 ms, and Zurich 22.9 ms. The median of all 30 regional p95 values is 76.8 ms for Tatum and 175.2 ms for the official endpoint. That median is a summary of the report rows, not a number CompareNodes prints as one global headline.
2. Chainstack
Verdict: Chainstack is the best fit for a dedicated Robinhood node. It is second here for that dedicated-node slot.
Docs: Chainstack Robinhood. Methods: Robinhood methods. Pricing: chainstack.com/pricing.
Robinhood's docs give the host pattern https://robinhood-mainnet.core.chainstack.com/{ENDPOINT}. Chainstack documents mainnet and testnet, WebSockets on every plan, and debug tracers (callTracer, prestateTracer, 4byteTracer, noopTracer). trace_* and arbtrace_* are not exposed.
Developer is free: 3 million RU per month, 25 RPS, one node, no archive. Growth is $49 per month, or $40 per month on annual: 20 million RU, 250 RPS, archive and debug. Archive requests cost 2 RU. Full requests cost 1 RU. Overage on Growth is $15 per million RU.
3. Alchemy
Verdict: Alchemy is the best fit when you want the provider Robinhood recommends, with archive on a permanent free tier and data APIs already in that stack.
Docs: Robinhood Chain API overview. Launch: mainnet post, July 1, 2026. Pricing: pricing plans.
Robinhood's connecting page gives the URL templates https://robinhood-mainnet.g.alchemy.com/v2/{API_KEY} and wss://robinhood-mainnet.g.alchemy.com/v2/{API_KEY}, plus the testnet pair. Related APIs on the overview: Bundler, Gas Manager, Token, Transfers, Debug, NFT. The launch post adds webhooks and says data APIs cover prices, NFTs, tokens, and transfers.
Free tier: 30 million CU per month, 300 CU per second, archive on, Debug and Trace off on the platform grid, 5 webhooks. Pay as you go: $0.525 per million CU, 10,000 CU per second, 100 webhooks. The same grid turns Debug and Trace on for pay as you go. The Robinhood overview itself lists a Debug API and does not name a Trace API. Webhook bytes cost 0.04 CU each.
4. QuickNode
Verdict: QuickNode is the best fit when Robinhood Streams and address webhooks should sit on the same plan as archive RPC.
Docs: QuickNode Robinhood. Pricing: quicknode.com/pricing. Credits: Robinhood API credits.
The chain page documents mainnet and testnet, HTTPS and WSS, full archive, debug_traceTransaction, Streams for blocks, logs, and traces, and webhooks for addresses and events. Endpoint shape from Robinhood's docs: https://{ENDPOINT}.robinhood-mainnet.quiknode.pro/{TOKEN}.
Free entry is a one-month trial: 10 million credits, 15 RPS, 1 stream, 1 webhook, archive on. Build is $49 per month ($42 on annual): 80 million credits, 50 RPS, 10 webhooks, trace and debug on. Robinhood sits in the 20-credit method group. Webhooks are 30 credits per matched block.
Product score is 2, not 3, because Streams are a feed rather than an indexed portfolio API.
5. dRPC
Verdict: dRPC is the best fit for a no-key Robinhood URL or for a free plan with a large CU pool and archive included.
Docs: dRPC Robinhood mainnet. Pricing: drpc.org/pricing.
Public HTTP is https://robinhood.drpc.org. Public WebSocket is wss://robinhood.drpc.org. The chain page lists mainnet and testnet, chain ID 4663. No Data API and no webhook product are named there.
Free plan: $0, public nodes, 210 million CU, about 10 million requests, 100 RPS, archive, debug and trace, WebSocket. Pro is $49 per month at 300 RPS. The pricing page also prints $0.30 per million CU and multi-chain overage at $6 per million requests.
Read a Robinhood block on Tatum
Production calls send x-api-key. This checks the mainnet gateway, then reads a portfolio and opens an address alert. The alert chain is robinhood-mainnet.

FAQ
Tatum, if the app needs RPC, a Data API, and notifications on one key. Alchemy matches the product score and is the provider Robinhood's connecting docs recommend. Chainstack is second for dedicated nodes.
On this page: Tatum, Chainstack, Alchemy, QuickNode, and dRPC. Chainstack is second for dedicated nodes. Alchemy, QuickNode, and dRPC follow on product score.
Both score 3 on node, Data API, and notifications. Tatum ranks first here because its notifications reference lists every event type for Robinhood Mainnet. Alchemy is the better pick when you want Robinhood's recommended provider, archive on the free tier, or 30 million CU per month.
In CompareNodes report 01a03809, Tatum's p95 was lower than the official Robinhood RPC in 22 of 30 regions. The lowest of those Tatum results is N. Virginia, at 6.5 ms, against 27.6 ms for the official endpoint in the same run.
The free plan is 100,000 lifetime credits at 3 RPS, with 100 notifications per month. Starter is $49 per month for 4 million credits and 200 RPS, checked on tatum.io/pricing on November 2, 2026. A dedicated 10 RPS key is $99 per month and does not consume plan credits.
Tatum (100,000 lifetime credits, 3 RPS), Alchemy (30 million CU per month), dRPC (210 million CU, 100 RPS), and Chainstack (3 million RU per month, 25 RPS). QuickNode's published entry is a one-month trial, not a permanent free plan.
Yes. Notifications use chain slug robinhood-mainnet and the supported-chains page lists all notification types for Robinhood Mainnet. The Data API uses the same chain slug for portfolio and transaction history. RPC hosts are robinhood-mainnet.gateway.tatum.io and robinhood-testnet.gateway.tatum.io.
They rank node speed and deployment options. A NOWPayments list from October 13, 2026 and a Chainstack list updated October 21, 2026 both start with Chainstack. This page puts Chainstack second for dedicated nodes, and first when the app needs RPC, a Data API, and notifications on one key. Tatum is not in those other lists.
